Arts/Business Connector (A/B-C)

Primarily an e-mail listserv, A/B-C connects volunteers with a limited amount of time, to organizations seeking very short, non-committal volunteer opportunities.

Best Suited For:
Those employees who do not have the time for a long-term commitment.

Applications:
Accepted year-round.

Projects:
Vary. Specific information is e-mailed to volunteers who have opted-in to receive it. Project details are provided by the arts organization making the request.

Project Scope:
One-day/evening "in-and-out,"two-to-three-hour-long projects ranging from ushering to working a booth at an event, to painting a set, to stuffing mailers

Examples

• Working at an opening night reception for the CAC
• Distributing brochures at an arts fair
• Ushering at a theater production

Training:
On-site by the organization if needed
