New! Download the full transcript.

In May, the Arts & Culture Partnership of the Fine Arts Fund and the Graduate Program in Arts Administration at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music hosted a community conversation with Diane Ragsdale of The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation as part of the annual Joan Cochran (Rieveschl) Lecture Series: Creative Visionaries. We titled the talk Sharing Our Art in a Changing Community.

After Diane's compelling presentation, two local leaders provided additional perspective and engaged in a dialogue with the audience. Panelists were Evans Mirageas, artistic director of Cincinnati Opera, and Pete Blackshaw, local digital entrepreneur and executive vice president of Nielsen Online, with Margy Waller of the Arts & Culture Partnership at the Fine Arts Fund moderating the discussion.

Molly O'Toole--Director of Communications & Community Engagement at the Contemporary Arts Center--shared her thoughts by blogging thru the talk and discussion. Click here to read Molly's Blog Post.

NEW! Now you can download Diane's speech as well as the discussion and commmentary that followed the lecture.
